The five main actors (including Hau Chiu-Sing) are fantastic in the fight scenes, which is good because the action takes up maybe two-thirds of the entire movie. A lot of the fight scenes are accompanied with a funky soundtrack which I personally thought added to the fun.īut still, there are many problems with this movie, especially the lack of a story. The main characters are all one-dimensional and extremely dull. The filmmakers seem much more focussed on choreographing creative fight scenes than trying to flesh out the characters. Even though the fights were very inventive and fun, you never really care who’s going to win because we don’t know much about any of the characters.

He had also choreographed for "The Final Test" and "Woman in Lust". He had starred in "Twinkle, Twinkle, Lucky Stars" and "The Blade". After completing his contract with Shaw Brothers, Hui continued to work on-screen with other film companies, while becoming a martial arts choreographer off-screen. He had also starred in the leading role of Hsu Hsiao-Ming's "Gang Master" with Chen Kuan-Tai, Pai Piao and Tai Liang-Chun.
Hui then became a stuntman at Shaw Brothers and later an actor, starring in films such as "The Convict Killer" and "Ambitious Kung Fu Girl". As a youth Hui was sent to a Peking Opera school because his family was impoverished, and he managed to start make a living at age 12 by performing martial arts. Hui was born in 1958 at the Shandong province.
